Philmont Backpackers Trip - May 21,22,and 23, 1999

The 1999 Philmont backpackers camped overnight at Caledonia State Park in Pennsylvania and hiked on the Appalachian Trail from Caledonia to PA route 16, a total of 15 miles. The hiking weather was great on Saturday but cloudy and a few sprinkles on Sunday. Thanks to Pete Kregloh, Jim Tabinski, Gary Vie, Mike Patterson, and Kevin Kennedy for driving.

Olde Mill District Volunteer Awards

     On May 22, 1999, many of Troop 264 scouters received awards at the Ninth Annual Awards Supplement Volunteer Recognition Dinner.

     Grist Award - Is presented to the Scouters who are the backbone of our organization, who are always there, helping out wherever and whenever needed.
